gldb is a legal-research tool operated by GHOST Projects, Inc. These terms cover the gldb website, API, Claude connector, and Word add-in, and they double as the license agreement for the add-in. Using the service means you accept them.
It reports how later cases have treated a case, holding by holding, with citations to the treating opinions. It also checks citation form in documents.
gldb is not a law firm and its output is not legal advice. The analysis is machine-generated from public court opinions and can be incomplete, stale, or wrong. Read the cited opinions before relying on any characterization of them. Using gldb creates no attorney-client relationship, and anything you file remains your responsibility.
Access is by issued key, one per person. Don’t share it, publish it, or bake it into software you distribute. Activity under your key is your responsibility. We may rotate or revoke keys to protect the service; if yours stops working, email support@gldb.legal.
Don’t try to break the service, probe its access controls, resell access, or run it at volumes that degrade it for everyone else. Keys that do get rate-limited or suspended.
Whatever we agreed when your key was issued. The add-in and the connector are free to install; both need a key to work.
The service is provided as is and as available, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. Features can change or be discontinued. To the maximum extent the law allows, GHOST Projects’ total liability arising from the service is capped at what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
United States law and the law of the state where GHOST Projects, Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Updated terms get posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
